What is Reiki therapy & What do you charge?

Adults & Children in person at my address:
I charge £30 per 60 minute session.

For longer sessions I charge £15 for each additional 30 minutes.

I offer a limited number of reduced fee spaces for clients on lower incomes. Currently, I have no reduced fee sessions available.

Adults & Children - traveling to your address:
The above charges plus a travel charge of £1 per mile from my address to your requested address.

Distance Healing:
£20 for a 40 minute session.

Reiki Healing for Animals:
This must take place at the animals home address.

The session has a fixed rate of £20 plus travel charges as above (£1 per mile)

I work with clients in person, for a 60 minute session, on a weekly basis.

Longer sessions can be arranged, we can discuss this at your initial session.

Therapeutic work is most beneficial when ongoing, but we can have an ongoing discussion about what works best for you and how many sessions you would like.

Distance Healing:
Distance Reiki healing sessions are around 40 minutes in length.

Reiki Animal Healing:
The session has a fixed cost of £30, this covers my travel time to you. Sometimes the session is for up to 60 minutes but with animals, giving Reiki is very much up to what they feel comfortable receiving. Sometimes an animal will move away once they feel better and have received the healing that they wish for.

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) means universal energy. It is an ancient Japanese method of healing which restores balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit.

Reiki is a gentle system of healing which promotes an increase in our physical energy and well-being, fostering a sense of calm, enhancing clarity of mind and promoting emotional balance.

This is achieved by clearing away stagnant energy which acts as a block to us living well. Reiki enhances our energetic vibration, supporting us to live well, with clarity of purpose.

You do not need to follow or believe in any particular faith or religion to receive Reiki, more that you remain open minded to the benefits of Reiki, which will undoubtedly become apparent to you.

Reiki is an ancient knowledge, rediscovered in the 1800’s by Dr Mikao Usui.

There is now much scientific research to substantiate the benefits of Reiki.

Reiki loosens blocked energy, helps the body cleanse itself of toxins, supports and strengthens your body's immune system, supports the body’s ability to heal itself, supports the body's ability to relieve pain and stress and evokes a sense of peace and well-being. It complements other means of healing, including traditional medical treatments, and works on all levels.

Conventional medicine often treats the 'condition' however Reiki supports the whole body and so in this way Reiki can be used to help you cope with almost anything that is causing you emotional or physical pain.

Reiki helps the body to strengthen and support itself to cope with and combat whatever might be the problem or issue. Reiki is not a replacement for Traditional Medicine but can be used as a complimentary therapy to improve the outcome and speed of your recovery.

Yes, I do not discuss what is said or shared in a Reiki session.

I do normally give Reiki to clients while they lie on my therapy couch, however if you are unable to climb onto the couch, I am happy to offer Reiki while you sit in a comfortable chair.

I will need to adjust some of the hand positions in order to deliver the Reiki.

I can also offer Reiki to those who use a wheelchair and again I will adjust how I deliver the Reiki therapy to accommodate your personal needs.

Many clients notice changes during or immediately after their first Reiki healing session.

Distant Reiki healing

I also offer distant Reiki healing which is the practice of ‘sending’ healing to a person (or animal) who is not able to attend an appointment. Distant healing is known by other names such as absent healing, Reiki distance healing, remote Reiki healing and many more.

Why consider distant Reiki Healing?

• Receive Reiki in the comfort and familiarity of your own surroundings
• No need for the inconvenience and cost of travelling
• Continue to receive Reiki if you are away from Cardiff or even out of the country
• Offer Reiki as a gift for someone else
• Allows you to give Reiki to anxious or stressed animals that dislike strangers near them
• Allows Reiki to be given to larger animals such as horses and ponies

How is distant Reiki healing given?

So that I can give distant Reiki healing I need the name of the person (or animal) and, if possible, a photograph of them. I find that it helps me to have something physical to hold to represent the person I am giving Reiki healing to and so I use a large teddy bear when sending distant healing which helps me to visualise the recipient.

During the distant Reiki healing session I ‘tune’ into the recipient, making the energetic connection and sending the energy to the that specific location.
